Two young South Asian students arrive in Berlin with dreams of building a future in Germany, only to find themselves working as food delivery riders under precarious conditions.
The Delivery Guy follows their journey from the hopes and expectations that brought them to Germany to the realities of life as migrant workers. Their story offers a glimpse into the contradictions of migration: the promise of opportunity and a secure future alongside the financial pressures, insecure work and emotional burdens that shape everyday life.
Against the backdrop of unregulated private universities and precarious platform work, the film asks what happens when the dreams that drive migration meet the realities of making a life in a new country.
